Outreach and Missions Commission

Purpose

Oversee—visitation, kitchen, bulletin ministry, social events, absentee follow up, publicity, newsletter, sports teams, and other duties assigned by the Ad Council.

Constitutional Responsibilities

Part 5.02 Outreach and Missions

(a) This commission shall work with the Pastor and the Elders in all areas pertaining to spiritual development within the congregation and outreach to the community.

(b) This commission shall develop the annual missions budget.

(c) This commission shall encourage the work of missions.

(d) This commission shall oversee the following areas: Visitation, Kitchen, Shepherding, Bulletin Ministry, Social Events, Publicity, Sport’s Teams, and any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Administrative Council.

Mission Statement

Touching lives in our church, our community, and our world to bring followers into God’s family, strengthening believers’ faith and helping them to grow to their full Christian potential.  We provide Christian fellowship, financial assistance, and ministry opportunities for people to use their spiritual gifts to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
